SKIN
The packaging skins of everyday mundane objects encase and protect our consumer commodities and are, in fact, their manufactured absent representations. Is beauty conceived in the idea of possession of these things but not in the meaning of the object itself? What then, if any, is the meaning of these abject things in our society? The world we construct and the artefacts we mass-produce appear and exist for our consumption as continue to remain naïve and disconnected from their processes, technologies and subsequent cultural and social implications.
